Trade shows remain an important part of marketing programs. The Center for Exhibition Industry Research notes that 48 percent of respondents to its survey “The Role and Value of Face-to-Face Interaction” reported that such interactions experienced at events were more valuable today than two years ago.
The trade association Meeting Professionals International says buyers attend trade shows to see new products, find out what’s happening with existing suppliers and make new contacts. They also place importance on face-to-face interactions at trade shows for investigating, evaluating and narrowing down choices before buying. Raise buyers’ expectations by letting them know about important new products that you will be exhibiting at your booth.

The IT Brand Pulse leader awards—covering a wide range of products including networking, servers, and storage—measure the perceptions of IT professionals in large enterprise, medium enterprise and HPC environments. For different product categories, the not-vendor-sponsored surveys regularly ask respondents to choose overall market leaders, as well as leaders for price, performance, reliability, service & support, and innovation.
IT Brand Pulse conducts annual brand leader surveys covering over 150 product categories. For each survey, respondents are provided with a description of the product and a list of vendor choices, and asked to select who they perceive as the leader in six brand categories.
For IT Pros, brand leader surveys provide meaningful data representing the opinions of hundreds of their peers about various products and vendors. For IT vendors, brand leader surveys uniquely reveal how a company is perceived by a cross-section of large enterprise, SMB and HPC IT pros, relative to other brands. The brand leader surveys are non-sponsored, independent research.
Responses are solicited from the extensive IT Brand Pulse IT Pro and end-user database subscribers and over 1,000,000 members of online IT groups.

““IT Brand Pulse Awards are special – the major customers vote on them,” said Lance Leventhal, Program Chairperson, Open Server/Open Storage Summit. “For recipients, they indicate top ratings from those who are currently using the products every day. For those looking for guidance on purchases, they reflect the judgments of people like themselves. An IT Brand Pulse award tells the world that a company is doing the job with the only audience that really counts – the end users”
